We have sold our flock of Suffolks. The whole breeding flock of ewes and one ram have been sold to Darryl and Kim Hopkins of Elmwood, Ontario. We are very happy with this sale to these fine people. We know that our sheep will be in great hands. We wish Kim and Darryl the very best of luck in the future with these sheep.

We do have several very nice yearling ram lambs for sale. All born the end of January 2006.

We wish to thank all our customers over the years that have purchased our sheep for their breeding programs.

We started raising sheep in 1983 and developed a commercial flock of up to 120 Suffolk/Canadian Arcott cross ewes. Stock for our present flock of 50 purebred Suffolk sheep was purchased from Susan Hosford (Sudon Suffolks) in 1997. All sheep have excellent records of production and performance. Our rams are selected for high rate of gain, muscle depth and for low fat. Our ewes are selected for rate of gain, prolificacy as well as high rate of gain, muscle depth and for low fat. Conformation faults are not tolerated and all replacement stock are carefully examined before they are kept as breeding stock. In addition to these qualities we are developing a less leggy sheep with good muscling and loin length by introducing British bloodlines.

We are a member of The Western Suffolk Sire Reference Association (WSSRA) whose aim is through performance testing to improve the lean meat characteristics of sheep using EPD's. At 110 days of age all lambs are weight and ultrasounded to determine a lean growth index. Our top ram and ewe lambs are sold at the annual WSSRA sale in Olds, Alberta, Canada during mid summer.

We have replacement ewe and ram lambs for sale by June of each year.
